Expertise cuts across the broad spectrum of commercial and corporate practice in the areas of general business advisory, corporate finance and banking, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, project and asset-based finance transactions, bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial debt recovery across several economic sectors such as banking and financial services, energy and natural resources, insurance, telecommunications, information technology, fintech, media, entertainment, aviation, maritime, construction, infrastructure, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, agriculture, beverages, and consumer goods, etc.

As a counsel who has worked on high-profile business transactions and dispute resolution cases, the Managing Counsel Mr. Ikemefuna Stephen Nwoye has carved a niche for himself as having a highly commendable knowledge of structuring complex corporate finance (securities) transactions; the management and resolution of business and commercial disputes. His dispute management and resolution experience include matters at the rudimentary stage of negotiation, conciliation and mediation; domestic and international arbitration tribunals; trial and appellate courts, arising from the above-mentioned practices and economic sectors.

 

The Law Practice's Social Responsibility Policy

The Law Firm has a developed and strong social responsibility policy aimed at giving back to the community and society in general. This is in the form of pro-bono legal services to qualified agrarian communities, corporative societies, and faith-based organisations; and in some peculiar criminal proceedings or matters.

The Managing Counsel is an ardent believer in the transformative power of education in any society. Thus, he commits some of his time and resources to knowledge development, career advancement symposia for university undergraduates and Nigerian law school students.
